A Fall Trip to Niagara Falls
Joyce and I traveled to Niagara Falls during the first week of November 2018.
We drove from Chapel Hill to Fayetteville, WVA, where we saw the New River Gorge and Bridge and visited Babcock State Park to see the Glade Creek Grist Mill.
We then traveled to New Castle, PA, spending the night in a BandB in Amish country. Then on to Erie, PA, the next day, driving along Lake Erie on Highway 5, arriving in Niagara Falls that afternoon.
We spent two nights at the Falls and visited Niagara on the Lake, a beautiful small town north of the Falls.
We then drove to Lockport, NY, to explore a portion of the Erie Canal, and then we turned south to visit Letchworth State Park, a really beautiful and interesting park, known as the "Grand Canyon of the East."
We then drove south through central PA, through a portion of Maryland, to Winchester, VA.
On our final day, we drove through the Shenandoah Valley to Monticello.
We hope you enjoy the photos.
