A Tour Along NC Highway 74 Business

This gallery has pictures from one of my "photo safaris," as I call them. I begin with a general idea of an area I want to explore but without a specific plan. I just go where my instincts lead me. On this trip, I decided to follow NC Highway 74 Business beginning outside Gastonia, hitting the major towns of Shelby, Forest City, Rutherfordton, and then the area around Lake Lure before taking Hwy 64 towards Hendersonville. I also visited DuPont State Forest and took some pictures of some of the waterfalls there.
