Cross Country - 2
This second gallery in my Cross Country set covers the area after we left Mansfield, SD, to the Missoula, Montana, area.
There were dramatic changes as we traversed the flat lands and rolling hills of South Dakota and transitioned into the breathtaking Bighorn mountain range in eastern Wyoming and the mountains around Cody, Wyoming. From Cody, I drove from Bozeman to Helena to Missoula.
Along the way, I could not help thinking about the families who followed this and similar routes west -- in covered wagons!
