Olympic Peninsula and National Park, Washington State
In September 2019, my wife and I flew to Seattle to visit our daughter and to explore the Olympic Peninsula and Olympic National Park which lie to the west of Seattle.
We visited the wild, undeveloped Pacific coast, Cape Flattery (the westernmost point in the contiguous US), the villages along Strait of San Juan de Fuca, and areas within the National Park, including Lake Quinault and Lake Crescent. We completed our circle of the peninsula by spending the night in Port Ludlow at The Resort there, before taking the Bainbridge Ferry to Seattle.
