Sylvan Heights Bird Park

I posted my first Sylvan Heights Bird Park gallery in November 2011. In November, 2014, I visited the park again as a part of my trip to the Scotland Neck area to take pictures for my Cotton Country and Old Houses and Barns galleries that you can see elsewhere on my site. I visited again in March 2018 and have added pictures from that visit to the front of the gallery. Since my first visit, the Park has added a number of new birds. It claims to be one of if not the largest bird parks in the world. It features 2,000 birds and waterfowl.

These birds are a reminder of nature's beauty and complexity. If you have a chance, a visit to the park is worthwhile. The Web site is http://shwpark.com/.

Hope you enjoy the pictures.
